At Yoga Quest we teach hatha yoga with an emphasis on alignment and the use of props so that each student can access the poses to the best of their ability for the maximum benefit.  Our classes are small so we are able to focus on the needs of each individual. 

 

The style yoga we teach is appropriate for everyone

Props (cushions, belts, blocks, walls, etc.) are used to modify yoga postures for each individual.  Regardless of your current level of strength, flexibility or endurance, you can start where you are and move toward more balance in your body, mind and spirit!

 

This is your quest

The focus of the classes will be to teach yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) with appropriate sequencing so that you can continue your exploration of the power of yoga independently.

 

Each class will be a new adventure!

Classes at Yoga Quest will vary each week.  Some weeks we will focus on overall flexibility and strength while other weeks we will focus on particular body parts (e.g. shoulders, back, hips, etc.), a particular theme (e.g. relaxation and renewal, sun salutations, etc.) or a particular category of asana (e.g. standing asanas, forward bends, backbends, twists, etc.)
